Have you every watched a film or TV series that are both critically acclaimed and applauded by audiences alike and when you watched it, you didn't get what the hype is all about? That's what this thread it about. Share your opinions and experiences with us, and explain why you felt the way you did. Keep it civilized though, I am encouraging a friendly conversation so keep in mind this is all just opinions in the end.
I'll start: recently I've watched Mindhunters. Being the big Fincher fan I am I've gotten excited... But unfortunately, that excitement was not met. I wouldn't call it bad by any means, but it was very underwhelming and boring. I expected much more, especially giving this is the same guy that made Zodiac. But that's just me, what about you?
