As we saw in this prologue, all classes have a work to attend in their session, such as a Heir of Breath (one who invites change through aspct) having to rearrange the whole comic by the demands of SOM3ON3 3LS3, A Knight of Blood, gives all their peirs company and ways to interact one to another.

but what about the Work they can not attend? like something out of their control? like, the Core/Nature of their class.

if you pay attention to Homestuck, you will realize that a lot of characters that share either a classs or a aspect tend to have not only similar traits, but also a destiny and things that comes with being themself (such as the omnipotent guardian all witches tend to have).

so, apart from something so visible like the guardian of the witch, the heart broker ewxperience all Heart players have, and how all mages are seen to be protected by their aspect, what is a less visible trait than those, for me, a great example of it is how all Knights have a weapon, that trhough Time, it just growss bound to the aspect of the Knight.

ANALISYS TIME

as you may now, Dave wields both Blade kind and ½balde kind. such as, all trought the comic he wields a vast list of swords, bout if you also pay atention, all those sword represent his journ and how trough time, all his sword groe bound of Time itself,

first, the normal ninja sword (and its broken version), nothing in particular. but in the procces of a doomed timeline, off screen, another sword is broken, by its parts, a new one is born, the legendary:

Caledscratch

Caledscratch, being the re invention of Caledflwch (we will get to it later) and, probably, some timetables, alchymezied, giving it the ability jump its own form in thime, to any point of its own.

from old, broken and ruset, to just fresh out the forge.

this is like when the Knight weapon starts to grow a conection with its aspect, in this case time.

the Caledscratch, works like the beggining as say bond, totally taking advantage of time travel, but also he doesnt do anything actually interesting/new with it.

progrerssing in the game, Dave upgrades the Caled scratch into Scarlet Ribbitar, wich still follows not the aspect traight now, but the Knight trait, of following the space hero in their quest to create a new universe.

I say this because the only time dave uses the Ribbitar is when helping Jade to create the new universe, a task that only the knight clase has, to help a fellow partner in their absolute quest.

this is not really a way to bound with the aspect, I know but meanwhile all of this happens, Davesprite, is completing his Choice, giving Caledflwch to Hephaestus and creating the Royal deringer

the royal deringer, doesnt actually has anykind of time based abilitys, so, this should be the end for my theory and deny my whole arguments, right?

NO.

the moment Dave gets the Royal deringer, he actually stops using time travel,the fact that Deringer also cant use time travel is a way to show us how the knight stoped bonding with its aspect seing time as just like karate, something to learn, to never use again, that is a really negative and harmfull way to see your own aspect.

adter a long 3 years, it comes the moment that both the nature of the aspect and the weapon itself bond into perfection.

When Jade alchymesiethe cueball of the death clock of Caliborn and the Royal Deringe it gives:

Caledflwch.

the sword, changed, rearranged and literally destroyed 2 times, was all along their ultimate form, a loop, just like time.

Caledflwch from all of Homestuck was a "mistery" only shown 1 time, and being broken the next second we saw it, but it was always there, just in diferente forms, just like how the aspect time relates to Lord English, and how he is ALREADY HERE, but caledflwch flows more pasively.

aslo, after getting Caledflwch, Dave uses time travel again, just to help Dirk, showing that at least, he acepts and understands his aspect and can work with him perfectly.

Karkat and a "BOND SICKLE"

Karkat, sadly doesnt show that much weapons along the story, but the when we can see are straight forward and they tell at least Karkat bond with the whole world.

the first Sickle he has is alchymezied with the THRES PRINCE OF Bel-Air, that is simply a way to tell that Karkat, right now is only bond with concepts of his childhood, not really knowing al those colors of the rainbow, and judging them by his conception, acting like he knows, acting angry, but inside, feeling numb and sad.

the Regislicke, createed by a sickle and a Regisword, means the first companion of the same color of Karkat, starting the Knight weapon a bond with its aspect, ths case blood, showing: teamwork,duty and logistic thinking.

and the clawsickle, shows the duty and relation between Karkat and his whole word, tiying up both Weapon and Aspect toghter, this is truly the true form of Karkat weapon, recalling both his Lusus, and The Signless.
