2000s College Experience?

So I've recently graduated from high school and am going to college in a few months from now (my first 2 years will be at a community college before I transfer to a 4 year), and as a girl who is absolutely obsessed with the 2000s (and lives like it's the 2000s) I've been wondering what being a college student was like between the years 2000 - 2009 from anyone who was actually in college at any point during those years so that I could try and replicate that sort of experience for myself in the year 2024.

Also, were online classes an option at any point back then? I'm asking this since I recently enrolled in the required courses for my transfer degree for the fall semester and unfortunately, some of the classes (Art 201 and Psych 014) are only being offered online, so I was wondering if I should just go with the online option for those 2 classes or if I should switch out the abnormal psychology class for another elective and wait to take art 201 next semester when that opens back up again in person.

I appreciate any information/tips posted here in this thread, rawr.
