I feel like its always been just has political but the reason people notice it so much now is because the early seasons and the new seasons have very different politic views where you can just notice it in how jokes are written

Doubt. I think it's just a mixture of Gen Z's "woke" radar so to speak that makes it pop out more because more people call attention to it.

I mean the show has always been about offending people over the years and highly doubt it being more political.
