HAZBIN HOTEL: unpopular opinion

Everyone thinks, or most fans I know think that Alastor would smell good. But honestly Alastor gives the impression that he doesn't have very good hygiene and would smell like some old or abandoned place ...

i mean, he IS a deer.

Vivziepop has said he smells bad in livestreams before I'm pretty sure, or at least it's been well-established in livestreams that he has awful dental hygiene. I wonder if it's still canon, or if it'll ever be confirmed in the show. 

My unpopular opinion: I think people take the livestreams too seriously. Even when Viv wasn't joking about something, I think panels and streams shouldn't be held up above the show in how canon they are. Discord RP servers are crazy about treating Viv's public statements/casual tweets as the only way you can portray things! Maybe I need to get off Discord...

Seriously Vivziepop has confirmed that? It's really the first time I find out. I'm not very attentive to interviews, I find it a somewhat funny coincidence

unpopular opinions? ok i got a few,

1- media litercy in this fandom is at an all time low, like a whole 1/4 of this fandom is children and half are twitter degenerates who cant understand the meaning of subtext to save their lives. this INCLUDES vivziepop, her writing very clearly reflects this.

2- on this topic, people liking so called 'problematic' characters is not as big a deal as many people make it out to be. no liking val does not make u a rape supporter, no liking adam does not mean u support genocide (had sum1 say this 2 mme b4 unironically lmao). as someone who comes from a fandom FULL of problematic characters,(homestuck) i have never seen a group of people act so violently over peoples honestly irrelevant opinions over fictional characters.

3- winding back a bit i want to elaborate on what i said about vivziepop. say what you want about how much you love the characters or the setting or how hyperfixated you are, the show feels like its playing out an edgy 2010 fanfic.net fanfiction written by some 13yr old past their bedtime. its horrible. the pacing is shit too, and yeah it couldve been better if they had more episodes but they couldve done a lot more and set up a lot more in those 8 episodes if they didnt have such dog water wattpad writing skills on team.

4- this is basically my vivz point but part 2. but i dont think vivziepop should be on twitter, or any social media for that matter, whilst also associating with hazbin/helluva. she has made it clear on multiple occasions that she cannot handle herself online nor can she handle others and it has put not only her, but her shows, company and fandom at risk. she refuses to take accountability for any of her actions, instead choosing to double down which only solves to dig her grave deeper. im not sure how long she can keep this up.

5- ok actal jokey unpopular opinion now. i dont get the hype for lucifer. like at all. he is GENUINELY one of the top 3 ugliest hazbin characters for me. HE HAS NO NOSE FFS!!!!! HIS SIDE PROFILE LOOKS LIKE FUCKING PACMAN DX!!!!!!!!!! it actually puzzles me to no end how people can find that... thing attractive. he is about as attractive to me as a contender 1000W commercial microwave oven. which is to say, not at all. NONE of his jokes were funny to me, and i found his character to be insanely bland. he just felt like another classic vivziepop cut and paste 'bad dad but not actually a bad dad hes just trying his best i pwomise' and oml im so tired of it i HATE this trope sm can we kill it with fire please? at the same time what?? is going on?? with his character?? like cool ok i get it its supposed to be some cool expectation vs reality with his premise as 'ruler of hell' and 'literally the devil, from the bible' only to be some 'uwu smol depressed bean' but it does not endear me to him. as an ex religious person who LOVES biblical lucifer/satan, he just felt like a huge dissapointment and wasted potential. lucifer couldve been a character who does SO MUCH and yet they just let him fall to the wayside as yet another stupid looking ugly ass fucking twink. GOD only knows how he bagged lilith and eve. if that was ME in the garden of eden and THAT MONSTROSITY approached me? id be RUNNING into adams arms (not that i wouldnt be anyways but... yk). and the duck thing? wtf is up w that? they never gave an explanation for that, honestly just seems like it was added for shits and giggles which is so... weird. like yeah cool you can give your characters traits like that but you gotta wait to build up the ACTUAL character traits b4 introducind the 'lol XD ranndom' side of them yk? anyways my rant over thats it im done fuck lucifer and fuck them horny bitches.
