any movie or book recommendations? (old or new)

Not sure what books you like, but I'm currently reading Young Mungo by Douglas Stuart and I'm enjoying it a lot. It focuses on a boy living in Glasgow during the 1980s. His family has a sort of bad reputation around the area they live in and the main character, Mungo, meets a boy who doesn't know about his reputation and family issues and of course they fall in love. Its a bit longer than books I'd typically choose but I'm getting through it way faster than usual.
