Do you have any recurring themes, places, characters, things, etc, in your dreams?

My favourite recurring theme in my dreams is probably the vast yet empty landscapes: I frequently dream of plains and similar places that stretch on endlessly, typically with some sort of mountain or forest not very far away, but there is almost never anything to see within said barren plains - when there is, it's typically very small in comparison to the rest of the fields, and is almost always inanimate. I think this emptiness grants a sense of liminality and comfort.

As for yourselves, what are some recurring things in your own dreams that you can recall? What do you think of them?

I'd love to have similar dreams; they sound beautiful. Although I do not typically have recurring symbolism or similar topics I commonly use my dreams to create poetry, art, or even short stories. :)

in a lot of my dreams, there’s a secret room somewhere. even if i never visit it i’m always lucid enough to know it exists. it’s always different looking but i always know it’s the same room. sometimes it’s huge and filled with life and people and activities to do, and other times it’s small, with a single light in the center of the ceiling, barely illuminating it

i think the only thing that repeats itself is that in every dream i feel like im myself but in the 'forn of how my body looks' and this is one of the reasons that im usualy aware that its not 'real'at least not in the in the normal way.

Idk if its exactly what the meaning of the question was

i have people who i think are general symbols pop up in my dreamz, i call them sun people because they take on the apperance of a childs drawing of a sun but with a body attached, normally an undressed body of either male or female. for me they normally represent certain people, faults in my life, or theyre visions.

Most of my recurring dreams are in my home and there's sooo many thingss

But some specific things abt them is that my brothers room and the kitchen are always dark no matter if its daytime in the dream or not, the light never works for some reason

And also the fact that my old/childhood bedroom is there too, it never changes to what my bedroom looks like now

Not rlly sure what to think abt them tbh, it's more comforting to me to basically see old memories still have a place in my dreams even if it's kinda creepy

My recurring dreams are always about animals and cemeteries. It's almost like I dream once a month with at least one of those things  (if not both of them). I love how beautiful my mind represents the graveyards' landscapes and the connection I have with every animal anytime they appear in my oniric world

i have reoccurring dreams sometimes, but i can never remember them off the top of my head.

recently, though, my dad has been in my dreams a lot more often. im not entirely sure why, as i dont think much has changed between us.. possibly could be because it has been about a year since ive moved back in i guess? idk but i found it interesting. my little sister is also frequently in my dreams, which is not surprising to me as we are very close.

as for scenery, i often dream of cities with tall buildings and narrow roads.

its strange but i have two such dream options in that type

one they are negative dreams or nightmares, where for some reason i dream something similar in a location or people up to three times, second, completely ramdom dreams where they are almost always places that, although i dont remember now, are specific and familiar to me

I've also had such strange dreams. Maybe those dreams are where you want to go. The more curious you are, the more you think about it and the more similar dreams you will have. Don't be too stressed, join the dinosaur game to relax and have better sleep.

every year I have 1 dream about a pale girl with long black hair, this year she wasn't there but I had a strange dream that seemed to be from the same universe, and it was about Japanese temples that made people disappear, an old man came to me and He said that if I hadn't been born yet I was still innocent.
the pale girl in all the years I dream about her, she is always in a coma and never opened her eyes.. the place is always black and white

When I was in elementary, which was probably the low point of my life mentally, I would get a dream probably once a week I would always remember.

It would start with me walking around in a town-- You know those little tykes cars? yeah the town was in that style. everything was too small, too bright. fence gates went up to my knees. as I opened a gate a stepped through, all the bright cheery colors would vanish. They would be replaced by unimaginably massive black triangles. I was falling illogically fast, but the triangles were so massive and far away where they hardly moved. Loud mechanical groaning sounds would be deafening from all directions, presumably from the triangles. And then I'd wake up extremely sweaty and feeling like a ran a marathon. Very odd. I haven't gotten one of those dreams since middle school I think.

I'm not going to go into detail about the dream because that's a lot lol but there was a dream I used to have basically every night for 2 years straight. It was super cryptic and bizarre but not exactly scary.  I would wake up at the same point in the dream every time, this drove me crazy.  I would constantly take naps and sleep any chance I got to try to finish the dream and i'm also a lucid dreamer so I remember being super like stressed out in my dream because I was trying to hard to get past that point.

I constantly have dreams about my dad dying, me losing him in public, him doing something dangerous or just acting erratic. This has been happening for as long as I can remember and when I think about how one day he will eventually pass I get crazy emotional. I love my other family and it makes me sad to think about their fates too but for some reason my dad just absolutely wrecks me. My grandmother recently passed and I was super sad but didn't truly cry until her funeral about a month later. strange ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
