I am not a descendant of any ethnic group from the former Yugoslavia, but I feel enormous discomfort when people associate Serbia with Yugoslavia. only Serbia, as if Yugoslavia were some kind of “great Serbian” or “Serbian empire”, which is not true. Yugoslavia (federative) since its creation, has only remained alive in an economic, cultural, sporting, linguistic, military and significant way for Europe and the world thanks to the tito and the union of Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia.

Serbian nationalism managed to blind laypeople from the subject and see that Yugoslavia was a great Serbian republic.
