just watched the angel's egg ova from 1985, and feel very..inspired but also a little melancholic and confused. despite not understanding much, i still enjoyed the animation and the ost is out of this world. anyone else had a similar experience with another anime?

I also watched it a few years ago but I still remember it quite well because it impressed me both for the beauty of the animations and for a sense of emptiness that pervaded me.
I don't think any other anime gave me these feelings, I think this one is very one of a kind!
