If everyone is so poor and prices are so high, why don't we just print more money? o-O

Like if inflation is so bad why don't we just make more money so ppl can buy things?

Germany tried that after the first world war. Inflation got so rampant that the money was practically worthless and took something like a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread.
