Lamp Lady

A while back I woke up from a dream, and suffered from sleep paralysis. In the corner of my room there was this tall, frail figure with a lampshade over her head. The strange thing though is that whenever I looked at her it felt like a wave of electricity was being sent through my body. I would shake and shut my eyes tight but when I did I saw vivid images of what I would assume was the Lamp Lady's face. Is there like.. a term for this sort of thing? Has this ever happened to anybody else?
