Twin Tribes! Their ethereal sound is quite unlike any other I've heard, and I rarely see people talk about them. I believe they will become a "classic" one day though!

I'm not the most goth in the world, but my favorite goth band is Asylum Party. I think their best songs are The Sabbath, La Nuit, Play Alone, Pure Joy In my heart, and White Light.

Fangs on Fur. Their self-title album is great. Monochrome Lover has a great ethereal electronic sound. And Naughty Zombies. They're not unknown but I never hear their name mentioned and their 3 albums are all great. First album being the best imo more distinctive than other bands

Omg FINALLY I get to answer this question. I recently discovered this band named Corlyx and I've been OBSESSED. The lead singer is soo sweet and we've interacted a few times in her comment section. She's always willing to give her opinion and I just love the band's music in general <3

Hey everyone,
We’re Contre Jour, a gothic rock/cold wave/post-punk band from the south of France. We wouldn’t go as far as calling ourselves underrated - that’s for others to decide - but since this group is all about sharing lesser-known goth bands, we’d love to introduce ourselves and let you make up your own mind.
We were active between 2009 and 2015, releasing two albums (One Night at the Station & Passion and Fall) before stepping away for a long break. But we’re back this year - maybe at the right time, maybe for the right people.
Our sound blends influences from Siouxsie and the Banshees, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Joy Division, and Dead Can Dance, with touches of Massive Attack, M83, and Fever Ray. Dark, dreamy, melancholic - but always with a pulse.
The world feels heavier than ever, and we know that for many - especially a new generation navigating all of this - music is more than just background noise; it’s an escape, a refuge. If you’re looking for that, we’d be honored to be a part of your soundtrack.
You can listen to all our albums on our profile via Bandcamp embeds and watch our music videos right there too. And of course, drop us a friend request - we’d love to connect with new people.
If you want to dive deeper, here’s our Linktree with everything in one place.
Take care, and see you around :-)
Roxane, Christof and Manu from Contre Jour

These are all japanese, but total favs! "Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas", SiM, Yousei Teikoku are the best bands. Azari, Machigerita, Slave V.R.R. and LadyMonsters are really solid artists! 96neko, Ado, and Futakuchi Mana are probably my fav cover artists too.
