The cat outside.

Question

For the past 3-4 months, at around 2-3:40 in the morning, i hear the sounds of what seems like a cat or kitten meowing. It always sounds so close to my window on the second floor yet, when i open my window and call out to the cat, it stops. It sounds hurt. Im almost tempted to go outside and look for it myself but i know thats stupid. My step sister heard it too when she was hanging out in my room but she didn't think anything of it.

i just wonder what you guys might think of it. should i go out and look around for it?? what if its injured?

i'll probably go look for it next time it calls out.

Sounds like a skinwalker trying to lure you out, be careful, stay safe. Did you ever go out looking for the cat?

What does the cat sound like? It may be in heat; I've had cats in heat meow around my house at the same time every night during certain times of year. If it stops when you open the window, it's probably stray or feral and you startled it.

If you don't want to go out looking for it but still want to help, try setting out a bowl of food or a warm bed and blanket for the cat. If it meows at the same time every night, it may be mobile. If it wants your help, it might come around.
