the marie antoinette movie, maybe? i haven't seen it, but they're by the same director (sofia coppola), and i've heard it's quite good. i doubt they're all that similar in story, but i'm sure in atmosphere and just overall movie wise, they're quite similar.

as a book, i'd recommend sylvia plath & ottessa moshfegh's!
also if you like the virgin suicides you should definitely watch "mustang", they're really similiar in ways and i love them both <3
