Blyer is such a bittersweet ship 4 me bc they are a real portrayal of what happens when friends outgrow each other with the added layer of wanting to be more than friends. It's especially heartbreaking that you see that Will is so disconnected not just from mike but from his whole friend group because of his time in the upside down.Shit S3 is a great example of this Will constantly wanting to focus on the game that connected them once as kids while mike and the others are busy focusing on other more "Important" things.Will tearing down their old clubhouse thing is so depressing because it hits hard and is relateable to most people. Also side note but I hate the inconsistency of Mike and Dustin suddenly being so committed to DND that they couldn't come to Lucas's game even though in S3 it was clear they were outgrowing playing that with Will.
