Chevy Cavalier

I am starting on my project car (a 2004 Chevy Cavalier). I noticed there were no forums currently on the topic;so, I will let you know what stock parts are not up to par with my overall goal. A little background I would like my Cav to be heavier so it sticks to the highway going average Californian speed. The hubcaps squeak so those are gone but im thinking of going up to 18” tires and rims and lowering the car. I am used to driving a V8 so this dinky 4cyl just feels unnatural but im not looking to be a speed demon. However, I would like to see this transmission upgraded as well as add new technological improvements including safety features to this vehicle for the improvement of my daily driving life as a now legally capable driver.
