Why are my profile pics so blurry??

I keep uploading new pfps and I notice how much lower the quality of the pfp is than the actual image, Idk what's wrong.

Probably there's a lot of compression on the uploads to be save on server costs

What file format are your pictures in? Mine are .png? Are you uploading .jpg?
