Lyric writing

Does anyone have any tips for writing lyrics? I have a few short things but I just don't know how to not make it sound corny or cringe yk? I also don't know how to like put them together.

My best tip is to be honest when you’re writing. Don’t try to force it, don’t try to be someone you’re not. I find it’s best to start writing words that mean something to you, like talking about your life, to find your style before moving on to telling other stories. Hope this can help a little, I’ll try to think of any other advice i have :)
