I'm definitely biased, but I would also say FL Studio! Great for flipping, chopping, destroying and re-imagining whatever audio you toss at it. It's also great for sequencing! I know DAWs like Ableton and Logic are more centered around audio recording, which could also be nice! Ableton has some nice and versatile mixing tools, and Logic (for macs only) has a great workflow to it.
At the end of the day, whatever DAW you get comfortable with will be capable of making whatever genre you want. It's just a matter of getting cozy with the software!
