I've just finished playing Tomb Raider Legend (was streaming it on twitch at twitch.tv/transbait) and the ending was a bit confusing and anticlimactic??? Anyway I'm wondering where to go now, should I do the next one in the trilogy or should i play anniversary first? Also just looking for general thoughts on that series of late 00s tomb raiders

I've only really played Tomb Raider 1 on my Sega Saturn, =). Never played any of the other games, nor the modern reboots, and guess I should at some point, ^_^.

You should def try Legend, it's always on sale really cheap and can run on any modern PC. Lots of fun, decently long story
