im new here and already emo/alt but i want to transition into a more scene style!

ive started listening to some scene music but feel free to tell me some underrated bands!!

now i want some advice--

im nonbinary and transmasc and get very dysphoric in skinny jeans!! and i also dont wear skirts or shorts often!! is there any way to get around that? my guess would be skinnier/slimmer jeans that arent full on skinny jeans, but idk. [edit!! my standards for masc/femme/andro are often quite different from what society sayz!! so feel free to tell me anything weird you do that isnt typically considered masc or andro!!]

what are some scene-ish haircuts i could have that i wouldnt have to spend much time styling? or hair i wouldnt need to wash product out of every day? [edit again!! ive figured it out now mostly!! but still open to tipz!!]

how can i start looking more scene now with clothes i might already have? or whats some easy makeup that i could do (thats not hyperfemme but moreso androgynous or masc)?

any help would be appreciated!!

hihi !! im not a super new scene kid , ive been in the subculture 4 about a year, but i wanna give U some pointers!!

1. instead of skinny jeans, look for low waisted, boot cut jeans. they flare out a bit at the bottom and are similar 2 skinny jeans but not too skinny or femme!

2. black eyeshadow + eyeliner is ur best friend. it's not 2 feminine unless u do a wing!

3. look for cute stuff thrifting!!! !!! look for low waisted jeans, bracelets, band tshirts or just colorful tshirts w cool designs etc <3

4. KANDI IS SO FUNN its not a must but i recommend getting into it bc its a fun hobby! and it is very scene

5. converse/vans all da way- self explanatory lol also pretty masc

6. 2 style ur hair, ask for choppy bands + choppy layers so U dont have 2 style it everyday nd damage it!!! thats what i have x3

7. HAVE FUNNN ND BE URSELF XDDZZZ we r so soso happy 2 have u in this community !! nd ofc lmk if theres anything u need like tips, advice, or just a scene mom 2 talk to LELZ 

no 2 scene kids r the same! look at other ppl 4 inspiration but also over time U will develop ur own take on the style!
