if u are opening youtube on web, you would have to copy the link from the browser and not from the link youtube provides!
thats how it worked for me !

If you'd like you can do something similar with Spotify by showing recently/now playing songs from your profile using this repository and clicking connect in the Readme to grant permission to the app. Then you can customize the way you want it to look and copy the HTML it gives you.
Here's an example of mine. Just remove the way it embeds media with Markdown and surround it with an <img> tag instead.
