I would honestly recommend looking into how to use Japanese shopping services, it tends to be cheaper then buying Japanese products second hand on american sites in my personal experience! I personally use buyee.

The best way I've found to go about it is

  • go on Japanese Mercari
  • search what you want to look for (Tamama plush in Japanese would be タママ ぬいぐるみ make sure to seperate them as two different keywords for best results)
  • check the 販売中のみ表示 box because that will make it be only whats currently for sale.
  • once you find something you want to buy, copy the link
  • go to Buyee and paste the url were it says "enter keyword or URL"

Keep in mind that you will pay to ship it to the buyee warehouse in Japan, then the shipping to ship it from there to you. There are some other fees as well since buyee is a business. Buyee isn't the only shopping service but it is the only one I've used. You might want to poke around and see if there are ones with better pricing before you commit to buying from there.
