while the genre is getting a bit stale i think theres still hope for it as long as they keep it fresh and fun :)

I don't think it's the genre that's the problem but the implementation. I enjoy some of the Battlefield games (mostly BF1), but Battlefield constantly has problems at launch and support is questionable at best.
