is sonic frontiers any good?

I finally tried it out and it's ok so far. I'm just at the beginning but so far the story doesn't seem as big as it should be for what's taking place. The gameplay is really fun, typical Sonic Generations / Colors controls but with some combat elements. Seems like you learn more combat as the game progresses. It runs well on PlayStation, which was my biggest concern with what happened to Sonic Boom. 

as a longtime fan who had zero expectations going into it, it really pleasantly surprised me. if you enjoyed generations and/or the daytime portions of unleashed, i'd say there's a lot to like here.
