Hello, Stari. If you are able to work, will you be going into nursing in some capacity?

I'm 25 and these days baking and cooking is all I'm interested in.

I had to look up the second thing, so it's like being diagnosed with several disorders? If so then along with autism I was told I have depression, anxiety disorder, and retardation. Though honestly I dunno if I'm just a shy and jaded person.

Interesting, what do you like to cook or bake?

Do you have a favoured cuisine, method and/or historical recipe?

I'm 22, I'm really into sci-fi (mostly pre-2000), retro technology (video/audio tapes, early PCs, CRT televisions), and weird music/musicians (rn its mostly weird al and the talking heads)

Also interested in mortuary science but that’s less do do with autistic special interests and more to just do with my career.

I didn't receive a specific co-morbid diagnosis, but I was diagnosed with adhd at abt 13 & then with autism later when I was 16

I like baking more cause then I can practice decorating. Cakes are the most fun plus they're my favorite. I think the only things closest to historical, and I probably have to use that term loosely, is apple stack cake and mac and cheese.

Also what's the point bumping only hours after the last post? Seems very pointless since these forums don't function like a typical one im the first place.

Fantastic! Are there any elements of mortuary science that you favour? I am interested in thanatology in it's social scientific and historical context.

Would you describe your musical repertoire as being eclectic? Adjacent to this (and your interest in mortuary science), have you listened to:
  • Mausoleum, by Rafferty.
  • The Hearse Song, by Rusty Cage.

I'm incredibly interested in decomposition and funeral practices, so I felt like it was a great job choice for me.

My music taste is absolutely eclectic. I like pretty much any and all music. Love finding patterns and themes and stuff lol.

I havent heard the other song, but the hearse song is an old favorite of mine. It was introduced to me thru the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark series. Absolute classic.

(1) Interesting. Thankyou for sharing!

Are you interested in any cultural perceptions of said processes? Both in utilising them within your potential work life, for example: being cognisant of the cultural beliefs of potential clients as you engage with them, and or otherwise.

(2) As with I.

(3) It's a good song, and the movie isn't bad either! Have you seen Before I Wake? For context, it is categorised as fantastical horror.

(1) Absolutely! one of the principal duties of a funeral director is to learn about and be aware of various cultural and religious burial practices! I have a class next semester all about it.

(3) I haven't! I'll add it to my watchlist. I love horror movies.
