I have been looking around and the latest info I can find is from about a year ago. Is there anything else since? Myspace by my perception was almost nothing without music and I very much would enjoy to be up to date with the development and news on this feature.

I don't think its going to happen. There's going to be a better site called NewSpace. 2005 MySpace Clone, with features like Photo Albums, music, videos, and more. coming soon. check out their group page at https://theretrobook.net/group.php?id=45 for more updates
