for brave? i dont think there is. i'm aware that there was a long period of time where brave could use chrome themes, you could try using Classic Blue Theme (back to 50). you could also try switching browsers, Pale Moon (and browsers built from it), Vivaldi, 360chrome and Firefox (soon) all have old chrome themes

there is no reason to add supermium, there are other browsers on this list that work on XP that also fit the "old web" style. the extended kernals are pretty cool though! i'll add those whenever i get the chance, thank you for sending!

Don't agree 100% with you regarding Supermium. The only Chromium fork mentioned in this thread that might work in XP and in modern web is 360. but 360 now is outdated (cause it's bassed on Chrome 86), and the chinese version is a bit hard to configure. So I suggested Supermium since it works on XP, is bassed on a more updated Chromium engine
(chromium 117+), the only drawback is that the browser might be a bit laggy. But it still has a better experience compared with 360 and other Chinese chromium forks.

supermium is visually just current google, which does not fit with the "old web" look mentioned on the title of the post. it's nice that it exist (if you like chromium at least) but there are other better fitting browsers on this list

there's that decrease titlebar button height feature, altho it looks abit off it has the windows 7 buttons

hi, great list! here are some of my suggestions:
- SpaceCadetPinball decomp: https://github.com/k4zmu2a/SpaceCadetPinball
this is a full decompilation of space cadet 3D pinball, it runs on pretty much anything natively, from modern windows to linux to lots of other game consoles and other hardware
this is a custom windows 10 ISO which makes it look nearly identical to windows 2000! there's not really much info about it online (this reddit thread is by the creator) and it's kind of hard to find a download link for it (the google drive link i posted is from a public discord server i'm in, and as far as i know it hasn't been posted anywhere else), i also think the creator's still actively working on it
oh, also, DO NOT use this as your daily driver OS! installing it in a virtual machine is completely fine, but remember that this could have MAJOR security vulnerabilities or malware! as a rule of thumb, NEVER use an unofficial windows ISO as your main OS, always use an ISO made by microsoft!
with that being said, here are some screenshots i took, remember that this is actually windows 10
the coolest part has to be the web browser, it's actually waterfox but it's using a custom theme to make itself look exactly like IE 5, which means you can browse the entire modern web on it!

has tools to recreate the XP look and feel in Xfce (a linux desktop environment)
a windows XP for the linux distro Q4OS which looks really good, especially the classic theme, has ISOs available pre-loaded with the themes
a revival of the old common desktop environment, a desktop environment common on old UNIX systems
if you want to get the full retro UNIX experience, the original CDE was made open source several years ago, and it's been ported to modern linux systems! it's still maintained, but no new features have really been added, so it might be a bit difficult to use for a modern user
