Imagine that you are a creature, your purpose in life is to kill the people thrown here, but unlike all creatures, you have an intelligence. Right after you are born, you encounter a bait and realize that you can talk with the bait, you empathize with your own food and start to disrupt the purpose of creation. This story seems familiar to me from somewhere, hmm... Human?
