I know how to do html but when I put it on the about area nothing happens because everyone else is using style sheet. Is it only style sheet or am I supposed to be doing it another way? I want to add new boxes etc.

You can't add new boxes. You can add HTML to existing boxes, and CSS to change how everything looks. You have to make your own website from scratch if you want more than that.
