This is so surreal!!

Alright sorry if this is the wrong place.

Im a 27 y/o woman from the UK, and i've been nostalgic for mid-2000s internet for SOME TIME and came across spacehey and IMMEDIATELY signed up, reminiscing about my old myspace profile from about '08/'09.

I  had a quick look around some profiles, which have been customised immaculately to that early-mid 00's internet aesthetic, i was expecting this site to be full of people my age or older feeling that internet nostalgia but everyone's a teenager, so it was like a pure time capsule except it's.. 2022?

I remember having the exact same sort of profile at 12/13/14 years old and to see the same thing happening here right now, with people the same age, fills me with such joy. Like, even though you were too young to know the internet, or the very beginnings of social media at the time you know how GOOD it was back then :)

I like to think i'm never too "grown up" for a certain thing, and as much as i'd like to go to town on some glitter graphics for my spacehey page, I think it's better i left that to the 14 year old me. I absolutely love that this exists, though!!
