thoughts on AI art?

some do look stunning , but i prefer just hring an artist since its cheaper ( most use these cycle things that dont look cheap) and they can get what u want more accurately . Besides , its still wonky and only the anime ones looks good tbh

i just haet that dude that used ai for winning a competition fuck him

i understand its usefulness in some areas but mostly its just odd

and i dont see any actual art skill in it, its just algorithm and user experience 

I don't particularly mind it but I dislike how some folks will try to claim it as theirs despite not making it themselves.

i think it can be useful in making like really weird abstract stuff or fractals, stuff that a computer would do really well at calculating (like google's deep dream), but i hate when people just use it to make random anime women and then claim that they're artists because they thought up a prompt :(

Bad. It's going to have artists out of business.

"But an AI won't be able to replace the soul an artist puts into it-" People don't care about art's soul. People just care that they won't have to pay artists.

it sucks. i would refrain from even calling it art.
