If anyone reading is a fan of melee you should give the super smash bros brawl mod "project +" a try. It aims to make brawl play more like melee and ive had tons of fun with my friends. Theres also an expansion of it called "Project m ex remix" which makes ultimates roster look miniscule in comparison by adding so many new characters :)

i started playing last year and got pretty good using young link, i mostly play mid tiers type stuff xd

Melee's aesthetics is so timeless. I don't know what's it called but their menu design are always so cool to browse through. 

They really were going for a specific style that I can't exactly pinpoint.
