what's a game that you wish more people knew about? (you are very encouraged to talk about indie games here im always looking for indie stuff)
for me it's:
- XIII (2003, gamecube, ps2, xbox, pc). cel-shaded comic style fps with a conspiracy plot. absolutely my favourite fps game ever
- sayonara wild hearts (2019, ps4, xbox one, switch, pc) described as a 'pop album video game', it's an arcade style game with absolutely stunning visuals and incredibly well designed levels. i can't speak highly enough of it go play it right now
- literally all of siactro's games (torree series, macbat etc) (pc, switch) fun ps1 & n64 style platformers about funny lookin birds. they're ridiculously cheap, toree being 89p and macbat being £1.79 (both switch prices, pc is is 10p cheaper i think). he's releasing a new game called beeny on the 14th october and super kiwi 64 in december iirc?
- timesplitters 2 (2002, gamecube, ps2, xbox) another absolutely amazing fps game. i absolutely love the soundtrack and the levels are so fun to play though.
- rayman 2 (1999, n64, ps1, ps2, dreamcast, ds, 3ds, pc (cd rom, not available on steam etc as far as i know)) out of any of the names on here you'll probably recognise rayman. it's my favourite game series ever so i have to talk about it. it's legal obligation. incredibly fun 3d platformer with some of the most intriguing and atmospheric worlds of the genre. some great horror aspects to it and it's about just a silly lil dude :] don't play the ps1 version it's missing half the game. also the ds and 3ds versions aren't... great. there's some very weird releases for r2 so look into it if it interests you
you do not have to go into detail, i just like rambling. plz tell me what your favourite lesser known games are!!!
