novellas you like? (mine is Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones!)

i never really got into novellas, but i recently read Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones by Torrey Peters, and i'm converted. it feels good to read something i can digest! 

does anyone want to drop novellas they like here with a summary &, like, anything else they want about it? (plus a link if it's available for free!)

Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones is a transfeminine apocalypse story that might feel a little weird to read during a pandemic (which is why i'm glad i read it during covid! it felt so up-close!). 

widescreen premise: everyone is trans. everyone.

close-up premise: what happens when people who desperately need each other, fail each other? 

it's a short but impactful punch in the gut, and if you've ever called yourself T4T it is required reading.

apparently there's a revised edition coming out soon, so i hope all of you who are interested pick a copy up! i think i will :)
