OUT WITH THE NEW, IN WITH THE OLD

Fr, everything is feels like so... premanufactured now and I hate it. It's so boring and everything feels the same because it basically is, there's no originality anymore. It's like you can't create just to create anymore. I think that's why I like places like neocities so much, because there is no pressure to make your website look sleek and pretty. You can make it look as ugly or pretty as you like, and you can customize so much with code that everything feels and looks different.

☆Sol☆ I totally agree with the "create just to create" thing. I make dumb little videos on my youtube channel for fun, but someone I know told me a bit ago that if I wanted to get a lot of subscribers then I should make my videos differently. If I wanted to be some generic youtuber that makes Fortnite videos then I would make Fortnite videos. People with that mindset are just too caught up in the rat race of modern living. They see someone having fun with a side-hobby and try to figure out how to monetize it, pretty sad honestly.

Everyday I see more and more people searching for sites that mimic the old web ones. The actual net sucks feels so... blank, you can't feel the excitment like it was in the 2000s and 90s.

I'm so happy that I found sites like those, that focus in bringing back the good moments.
