A lot of the OG scene/emo kidz are still at it, some have swapped style but are still alternative! Very few that I've seen in recent years have fully dropped being alternative so I think it's safe to say that for the most part it was not just a phase :pp

as someone who grew up in the 2000s, im on this website to relive those days lmao. i think its awesome theres a 2nd generation of scene kids/emos even tho im not really into that type of music. still dig the look tho

most became soft grunge and tumblr girls, still alt but like in alt trends if that makes sense
