When I was little I saw this youtuber who voice acted little thingys of creepypastas and I watched one about suicide mouse. It honestly kept me up at night and its message kinda freaked me out, I even had this weird surreal dream where I was in a 30's rubberhose animation at a gas station and suicide mouse kills goofy. Then I woke up to watching Croods or something, so ig this was back in 2013 probably. I then at some point went around school saying mickey mouse traumatized me cause I thought it was kinda funny, but the creepypasta definitely freaked me out and I had a couple sleepless nights lol.

lavendertown syndrome and smiledog were two that really messed with me! something about watching a video about it out of curiosity only to be subjected to the actual song/pic that could harm me was terrifying!!! i remember being so mad that people would put the smiledog pic as thumbnails like "what is that was the real picture?!!" but looking back that kinda would be the whole point huh, they would have been spreading the word pretty effectively.ย

ย ย Definitely Jeff the Killer. I remember when I was in third grade (2013), and I used to steal my mom's laptop from the kitchen table, take it to my room, and watch Minecraft YouTubers. One night, I was looking at Enderman fanart on Google Images (I didn't know sites like Tumblr or Deviantart existed), and one of the recommended searches was "Slenderman vs Enderman fanart".
ย ย The only thing I knew about Slenderman was that he inspired Enderman, so I was curious and looked around. Then another recommended search was "Slenderman vs Jeff the Killer" and one of the first results was the og Jeff photo and og Slenderman photo next to each other. Jeff was the first horror-related thing I had ever heard of or seen. I couldn't look away. I just googled "Jeff the Killer" on Google Images and just looked at that image over and over and over and over.ย
ย ย I would usually put the laptop back on the charger in the kitchen at about 10, *maybe* 11. But I accidentally stayed up until the sun had already begun to rise. Just. Lost in that image. That image flashed in my mind every few minutes, like actually obscuring my vision by just appearing in front of my eyes, for weeks after that. like I was an old monitor and it just burned into me from the hours of staring at it. Creepypasta then became my first special interest, basically consuming my entire brain, until the Slenderman stabbing happened in my hometown in 4th grade, putting a bitter taste in my mouth about the whole thing, and I moved onto FNAF

Honestly, the rake scared the shit outta me when I was younger lmao. I recall that being the only one that made me a tad paranoid? I remember watching a creepypasta reading of the story back in elementary school and afterwards, any time I heard a strange noise at night I was TERRIFIED that the rake was in my house lolol
not sure if it counts, but soup.avi messed me up a bit too rip
