Ideas for getting out of a depressive episode? /GenQ

I go into depressive episodes a lot, and I usually just sleep them off. But, I was wondering if there were more effective/productive methods?

hey ^^

the thing i found that helped me out the most when i moved out the first time and got absolutely slammed with all the negative things at once was making a small routine. mine was a multi-step face washing routine, it gave me something to look forward to. it can take a while to build a routine but it can really be worth it. a few years later i added in a couple of more things that i try to do daily, they pull me out of my own head and let me rest for a while.

Hey! I take a few breaths and eat something i like or have some tea. Removing myself from people who arent positive also helps.
