Headbangers and Maggots, Moshers and Thrashers, I bid you welcome. I invite you to say hello and tell us a little bit about what drew you to the vast and awesome universe of metal.


I'll go first. Hello, I'm Leena. I've been a metalhead since a young age. I blame my dad for introducing me to Metallica's Black album when I was like 5. Though I do still love the classics, my tastes have become steadily darker as I've grown. I've been to more concerts than I can count and I can't wait to see more.

i'll b the first commenter on this! i'm madalyn. been into metal for a little over a year and a half, but the genre has always been a main part of my life (along with classic rock) and i can thank my father for that. my favorite metal genres are thrash and death metal. i really like all kinds of metal besides nu metal and power metal, but even so i still like a few songs that can be classified as either. i plan on starting my own band (maybe thrash, but a death metal band would be sick) whenever i get better at guitar (been playing for a little under a year but i am not new to playing instruments)
