Emulator or console?

For the most part on console but its so expensive to get gens 3-5 cartridges. 

On console. I'm an old lol. But emulators are great because they have romhacks!

I only really have consoles for the newer games, emulate for the older ones.

Emulation doesn't really work well for the DS games. But thankfully I managed to nab Pokémon Y, SM, and USUM! 

console for the switch gens but I emulate everything older, I just find it much more convenient

I like the feel of console better. 

I would like to let people know that you can play romhacks on your consoles if you know how. For example, I've got pokemon Crystal Clear on my 3Ds running through the Virtual Console thing they have and it works so well. 

I emulate the older games and play the newer ones on console

i don't have any consoles so emulator for me (´-ω-`) but i def want to play on console when i get the chance to !!

I mostly play on emulators lately!  I'd love to play on a DS Lite because of the colors and stylus makes the Pokeathlon minigames on HGSS easier than with mouse I think, hahah!  I use melonDS, which lets me use the WFC features using KaeruDNS :)  I have good memories from playing Pokémon Crystal on a GBA SP too

Emulation for the first five (maybe six) gens but from that point onward do consoles.

I've got every mainline Pokémon game up to gen 5 so I don't have much need for emulation

Emulator!! I never had a Gameboy (i have a 3ds though, which i have sun) so I've been playing the older games thru emulators!

i prefer console since its more physical ig? but i dont have all the games so i recently started using emulators

I try to play legit as much as possible. Some of the romhacks are cool to play tho through emu, it's fun using totally diff controllers from the OG hardware lol
