No location search?

I've never truly been able to be myself on social media. At least not since myspace before it went corporate. I met so many wonderful, creative, and interesting people and even went on a few dates. It was great. My page allowed me to express myself and through my expression and others I was able to find creative, interesting people like myself. Before and since myspace this was not a very easy thing to do whether in real life or online. This site really needs to be like myspace was and add location and the option to search by location (preferably zip code and town/city) so we can be more than online pen pals and actually make real world connections. Without that the site is just a shadow of what myspace was and there is far less incentive for it to catch on and for people to use it. I need friends, yall! HAAALP!
