My parents were/are obsessed with classic country so I grew up around a lot of it.

My favorites are:
Jerry Reed
Loretta Lynn

Waylon Jennings
Dolly Parton
Johnny Horton
Kitty Wells
Merle Haggard
Marty Robbins
Hank 1 and 2
and so many more!

I'm not sure I like anything 'modern', unless you count the 80's/90's. I stopped listening in the early 2000s haha.

Jerry Jeff Walker...because no matter whose song he was singing...he made it his own.  After JJW...I'll take Dwight Yoakum and Gram Parsons.

Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Robert Ellis, Ashley Monroe, Amanda Shires, Maren Morris (or is she more pop?), Randy Travis, all good. Not very mainstream and some veer a little outside "country" but I think it's really a hazy edge there anyway

I only stan garth brooks. It really cheeses me off that he isn’t on Spotify. I feel like he’s gotta give in eventually, average streaming revenue actually overtook pre-spotify cd sales last year. He’s a stubborn mfer

Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, and Alan Jackson. Alan Jackson's Chattahoochee was my jam when I was kid.

Loving me some Morgan Wallen!! I enjoy his music and I've been a fan since he was on The Voice.

BUT I love me some old country music artists, grew up listening to it with my kind folks and that's all we listened to while hanging out in the shed haha.

George Strait
Alan Jackson
Shania Twain
Brooks and Dunn
Joe Diffie
and much more, the list goes on, lol.
