I'm gonna be niche and cringe but this cover is a redraw of an illustration in an old children's book and how that contrasts with the themes of the album is devastating but also amazing
also it's just beautiful art soooooo (I'm friends with the artist >w<)
that album is Wetdream by Willy Rodriguez, it's beautiful but talks about a lot of sensitive shit so I def suggest u listen but be weary

I really like album covers that look exactly how the album sounds. some of my favourites are:
Broken - Nine Inch Nails
Rainbow Bridge 3 - Sematary (listen to the first song and tell me it doesn't sound like this image)
Karma - Pharoah Sanders
These are all really good albums btw, give them all a listen at some point

I don't know if this is my favorite album cover, but I always loved the cover art for Blithe's Verse Chorus Verse. Also I realized it's on a RYM list called "funny lil guy" with albums with similar cute characters on the cover, and I love that.
I just think the little devil character is so cute, and I like sneaking references to it in my art/comics with someone wearing a t-shirt with said character.
