mine is the texsas chainsaw massacre its a very entertaining movie as well as the sequals my other fav slasher is wrong turn only 1 and 2 one the rest are trash and the remake was ok:)

The first A Nightmare on Elm Street. My other faves are Candyman (1992), the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Tourist Trap.

My favorite is probably scream, it was genuinely a really good movie, the plot twist was great. The characters and costumes were iconic, even the kills were genuinely badass. Watching scream for the first time felt like opening a door, i really wasn't the same about movies after seeing it for the first time. As much as i love scream, theres a bunch of good slashers out there, screams pretty basic. One of my favorite other slashers is some random film project i found called (i think) Found. It was made in like 2012 and it was actually pretty cool. It was a sick film (both ways i guess) but it just felt super original. Some of the parts were kinda strange but the ending was cool. Would recommend it, though i do warn the killer is really fucked up.

Something about the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre makes it have a special place in my heart
