Clone of classic Facebook ca 2007

Now, this site is in Russian but English is one of the languages you can display the site in and the layout is nearly identical to that of Facebook ca 2007. The url is openvk.su and while the site initially only displays itself in Russian, you can choose English by adding /language to the url. I made an account on there today and it honestly feels like having taken a time portal back to 2007 and the way Facebook looked like back then!

If this post has to be removed due to the site being a Russian one, because of the Russia/Ukraine situation and the west's general attitude to Russia (which I do share, don't get me wrong), I understand but I still felt that I wanted to share this site seeing as it is a revival/clone of classic Facebook and thought some in here might find it worth checking out.

Also, if anyone decides to make an account, you can add me here: https://openvk.su/didricknamtvedt

ok

EDIT: actually this is a revival of VKontakte, not Facebook

Yeah, true, it's a Vkontakte revival as well, which in turn was a revival of classic Facebook, so in a sense, both are, so my initial post technically isn't wrong. VK did a major overhaul of their site a few years ago and ditched the classic Facebook look for a "fancier" and more modern looking one. But when I found OpenVK, I was happy someone had brought back that interface again.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've never been hacked on there but hacking people in general is as lowlife as it gets and it's sad that someone out there has to ruin the website experience for others.

https://vmerezhi.pp.ua/ < I tried this but the site wouldn't load for some reason :(

EDIT: Turns out you'll need a VPN client to access the website if you're outside of Ukraine. I tried accessing it again with a VPN set to Kyiv, Ukraine and then it let me access. It's all in Cyrillic, which is a bit of a challenge but I did see an English language option, which for some reason doesn't let me view the website in English. Guess I've gotta use Google Translate for this one but it's still a cool find! :)
