I got banned for saying gay people are poggers

2 words: Absolute Garbage.

It's not great. It's too harsh in text chat and too lenient in voice chat.

Ok, this might take a long time to type this so this was made at 8:55 pm.

It's the same as Discord. They can take your ID card most known as a driver's license, When you give it to them wouldn't you as yourself this? "I wonder if I give my ID to this big company that has been down many times mostly not from hackers and if there's a glitch and I get doxed somehow? maybe? with very bad mods in games and Roblox company, it's self somehow I always bring myself to play it... Oh and I almost forgot to add if you say anything bad abt flurries like "furry bad" or "I hate furries" it's basically the same model in Discored also I'm very amazed by Discored doxing people the company itself and not the players doing it Oh my bad did I say I was amazed I meant to say "UNAMEZED."

You'd think they'd be more lenient towards older players about swearing, but ig not. I went on a 17+ game and probably about a third of the people on there were vc banned because they said a bad word. It's even gotten to the point people have gotten their actual accounts banned, and in worse situations, terminated. I have seen people on these games drop like flies because of this.

They weren't even using those words in a harmful context either. No slurs, no one cursing each other out and acting in a hostile manner, it was just part of whatever conversation they were having. 

I understand watching what you say when playing an all ages game with vc because there are younger people present. In exclusively 17+ games where all players have verified their age (assuming they're actually of age and didn't steal their parents IDs), Roblox should allow swearing, so as long as it isn't used to attack anyone. 

I have also seen people say and type out slurs and derogatory comments targeted towards certain people and get away with it. Roblox's community standards has a section about how that's not permitted, and it seems that it clearly isn't enforced properly. On all age games, or 17+, that's unacceptable. 

Although the community guidelines also do not permit swearing, there should be some leniency on 17+ games, as older teenagers/young adults have a better understanding of the usage of swear words. 

We should have human moderators because they'd be better at picking up the context if someone were to get reported. Roblox as a whole would benefit from that instead of bots that do a piss poor job looking over content. 

Overall, I think Roblox moderation sucks. This is just one of the things that grinds my gears the most.

i think there's no better documentation of how terrible roblox moderation is than ReubenSim's videos about it. he provides all sorts of examples of how utterly terrible roblox's moderation is. they only tend to ban stuff when he points it out on his "Moderation for Dummies" twitter lol

Honestly it sucks. I've seen countless people get away with hacking, exploiting, bullying/harassment, and saying things that they shouldn't be able to say. Even after multiple reports. But then my friend gets banned for giving people hugs in VR?? yeah, right. It's a joke.

It's shitty!!! You get banned for a day for ranting on the forums, but they don't bat an eye on the thousands of sex games being uploaded by grown men that are probably older than Shedletsky.
