Hey sooo idk how to start this but i think a ghost or something is trying to be me. When I was in junior high- high school (I'm still in high school) I lived with my grandfather and i went to school as one does and it was like i was still at home, my grandpa though I was skipping because (at the time my bed was just a box spring and not an actual mattress so every time you sat or even moved a little bit it would creak) my bed would creek as if I was still sleeping and he would ask if i was there but nobody responded and he waited until the school bus came and i go off of it this happened for years and even after he died my dad started hearing the same thing i didn't even have to be at school just away from the house and it would start up again and it only got worse. Then it sounded like someone was mumbling and breathing while i wasn't there and once it sound exactly like me, this happened when my dad and sister were there and i was visiting my mom and they were ordering dinner but then they heard me or at least what they thought was me but apparently it sounded like i was on the phone with somebody and my dad said " kat you here"

this could be a number of things. unfortunately, due to lack of more context, i can't be sure. but i don't think a ghost is necessarily trying or pretending to be you. sometimes, leftover energy doesn't really know what to do with itself. therefore, it copies and repeats events that have already happened in the same area that it's in. for example, if your grandfather were to hear your laugh, the energy in that area of your house may be stuck in a loop of an event where you had laughed. another possibility is that an entity may be trying to make itself known. if you don't want this energy or entity around, i would recommend smoke cleansing your house while rotating whatever you're cleansing with counter-clockwise with the intention to banish all unwanted energy or energy that is not of light. if this doesn't work, i would seek a professional. i hope this helps!

my best guess would b a mimic so maybe look into the lore on those and see if it fits your situation but i cant b sure, good luck because i really hope you’re able to find some answers!!
