anyways, i need some suggestions for my oc that i have in development.

His name is Zarex, a transmasc lion. He has sharp claws that he uses for hand-to-hand combat and he has the ability to jump at tremendous heights and speeds with the use of his specially designed shoes. The shoes have rubbery, inflatable soles that allow his mobility, as well as spikes that strengthen his grip, like soccer cleats.  But tbh, theres no way a pair of bouncy shoes alone can allow someone to jump really high so fast. I decided that maybe I should come up with a powerful type of crystal that powers his shoes?? not exactly a chaos emerald, but maybe a power source that went under the radar and was protected by a remote civilization of lions. I've been thinking about this and decided to go with quartz since it can literally be a power source irl. I love this idea I came up with, but it seems kind of bland. Any suggestions?
