This is a poem that I did for school but I'm really proud of it so I wanted to share. The teacher told us to write a really dramatic poem so I chose to write something with kind of a YOU vibe.
Isn’t she beautiful
She is one of a kind
We are on this trip so that I may ask her if she will be mine
Mine and only mine is what she will be
And without me
She would be nothing unfortunately
But let us keep the mood light for this momentous occasion
For we would not want to spoil the surprise
If she says yes then we will celebrate
And our love will be idealized
But if no is her answer
It will be her tragic demise
Isn’t the forest such a wonderful place
So secluded, so peaceful
And so widely spaced
I think this should be far enough
Away from the world
Not a shriek
Nor a holler
Would even be heard
Time to pop the question
Do you think she’ll be mine?
But my offer of letting her be my lovely wife
Is declined
Who does she link she is
A queen
A Goddess
I gave her the opportunity of a lifetime
And she did not want it
Plan B it is I guess
Even if it is the one that I detest
And I drive an unblunted knife into her chest.
She tries to speak
Unable to contest
Such a sad way for a life to end
But if I can not have her
Then no one can.
